SCHOOL HISTORY

A certain parcel of land situated at Barrio Colina, City of Cotabato measuring 9.232 square meters was generously donated by TEOFILO R. ROJAS SR. a resident of Sousa Street Rosary Heights, Cotabato City, presented by then OIC Mayor LUDOVICO D. BADOY in which transfer to certificate title no. T221 was officially entered in the Registry of Deeds Deeds of the City of Cotabato on July 5. 1960. It was on that piece of Land where ROJAS CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL was conceived and was named after the donor.

The school was officially opened to the public in the year 1960 with Mrs. Cristete B. Torre first principal froth (1960-1972). (1960-1972). She was succeeded by tres as the first B. Torres as Mrs. Carmen Toledo (1972-1973), Mr. Felipe Bacani (1973-1974), Mrs. Modesta Mangulabnan (1974-1976), 16), Mrs. Josefa M. Serojales (1976-1980), Miss Rosa Gascon (1980-1981g Mr.Wahabi L. Guianm (1981-1986), Mrs. Purification D. Coraza (1986-(1986-1990), Mrs. Rosela Batoy (1990-1991), Mr. Leopoldo B. Casimora (1991-2000), Mrs. Concepcion F. Balawag (Feb. 01.2001 -July 06, 2001), Mrs. Norma T. Molina (July 07, 2001-May 2005), Мг. Bakar Kahar (May 2003-June 2005), Mr. Shaffa L. Guiani June 29, 2005-June 2009), Mrs. Nida 0. Padrique and Teresa E. Apao Assistant Principal (June 22, 2009-August 2014) was then transferred to PILOT CENTRAL SCHOOL as Assistant Principal last June 2010.

Then rise a newly District IV last August 24. 2011 in which ROJAS E/S is where the District office located and Mrs. Nida 0. Padrique was the assigned Principal-In-Charge and at the same time the concurrent Principal of ROJAS E/S up to August 2014 and Mrs. Teresa E. Apao the principal from September 2014 up to November 7, 2019 Dr. Judith Gunsi-Tinio is installed last November 7, 2019 up to present ROJAS CENTRAL ELEMENTARY TARY SCHOOL has complete elementary with 33 teachers. 2 ALIVE teachers, I utility worker, and a security guard.

The school has 7 buildings 2 of which are 2 Storey. It has 35 classrooms. principals office, canteen, I home economic room, Science Room, Clinic, ALIVE office, SLRC & Reading Hub, and ICT room. There is a stage funded by the LGU. covered court donated by then Congressman Didagen Dilangalen, Parents Solida-rity Peace Hub spotisored by GPTA Officers and Jetmatic with Shade given by Kutangbato Lobige 110. It was surrounded by business establishments and neighboring Private and Public Schools. The community where the school is located reflects a peaceful and productive neighborhood. All stakeholders particularly the parents, pupils. LGU and NGOs are very supportive and cooperative in all the undertakings of the school.

It is not impossible to produce highly competitive and productive citizens having committed, dedicated and competent performing administrators and teachers. The school's vision, mission and goals are not far to achieve. And pupils will surely in all fields of academic and extracurricular activities in different levels in the guidance of Almighty God.
